There will be six vigil masses on the eve of Eldoret Catholic Diocese Bishop Cornelius Korir's burial.
According to a program released by the diocese communication office, the body of Bishop Korir will leave Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary in Eldoret at 10.00am with the convoy expected to arrive at the Sacred Heart Cathedral at 10.15am for public viewing until 2.45pm.
After viewing of the body, there will be a Requiem mass beginning at 3.00PM.Later in the night, there will be six vigil masses overnight with the last vigil mass scheduled to begin at 5.00am, Saturday.
"Vigil Masses will be led by our different deaneries. Procession to Sport's club field Saturday 7am, where funeral mass begins at exactly 10:00 am," noted the Catholic Diocese of Eldoret communication office.
