Bishop Patrick Lihanda of the Pentecostal Assemblies of God (PAG) Nyang’ori Vihiga County has called for dialogue between President Uhuru Kenyatta and National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga for the sake of the country.Speaking in Nyang’ori, the bishop said the two leaders hold the key to peaceful co-existence in the country. The bishop’s call comes a few days after Raila Odinga was sworn in as the ‘People’s President,’ in a function held at Nairobi’s Uhuru Park.“Where we are right now, dialogue is a must. I want to beseech our two brothers – the President of the republic of Kenya and NASA leader to sit down and talk as Kenyans,” said Bishop Lihanda.I want to believe it is not yet too late to sit down and talk,” he added. He asked Kenyans to maintain peace and order despite their different political persuasions, tribe or religious background.“I want to beseech all Kenyans in the first place to maintain peace and order for the sake of this country because we do not have any other country apart from Kenya,” said the Bishop.“If Kenya was to sink, then all Kenyans are going to sink. My humble prayer is let all of us main peace,” he added.
