I have no plans to join politics, Mombasa ACK Bishop Julius Kalu has said.
This is after speculations that the servant of God had intentions of contesting for a political posts upon his retirement.
Kalu has, however, said that he will continue fighting for the welfare of all Kenyans without fear or favor even after he completes his 24 years in the ministry.
He also revealed that he has plans to pursue a PhD in Theology, which he says has been one his greatest desires in life since he was young.
Kalu, who spoke at Kanyumbuni ACK in Chiferi Parish, Rabai, also dismissed claims that he is too old to continue with education
“Education has no age limit. Politics has always been out of my plans. The Church and Kenya in general would remain my priority,’ he said, as quoted by The Star.
The man of God also asked Kenyan to look at the agenda of both President Uhuru Kenyatta and National Super Alliance (NASA) Presidential candidate, Raila Odinga before the October election date.
He further said that Uhuru and Raila will make or break Kenya, adding that there is need to pray for peace as we head to the fresh polls.
