Speaking on Thursday at the Thika CDF offices during the issuing of cheques to more than 250 students from different universities and other higher education learning centres, the bishop urged the youth to identify themselves with a supreme being so that they can prosper in their studies.

“The church is an important base for any success to anyone. Put God first in everything you do and ensure you at least go to church, it will help even in your studies,” said Mulandi.

The bishop went on to praise the area MP Alice Ng’ang’a for introducing such a programme to help the needy students in the constituency, vowing to go on supporting and leading the project to his best effort.

“I would like to thank the MP for this very important project, it is what we would like to see our leaders do. Ensuring that you provide for those who do not have, those who cannot afford,” added the Bishop.

The MP issued Sh4 million worth of cheques to the students during the occasion.
