Speaking on Radio Jambo Monday evening, nominated Member of Parliament Godfrey Osotsi advised the President to fearlessly unleash all his available resources on the menace.

With regards to the latest graft and scandal revelations, the lawmaker noted that Uhuru should not relent in punishing the perpetrators, saying that he must endorse the punishment of every implicated person, including his allies, to the relevant bodies.

This, he said, will boost Kenyatta’s legacy upon his retirement in 2022, adding that he has nothing to lose by touching influential names involved in graft, as he no longer needs their backing.

‘’Uhuru hana sababu ya kuogopa mtu sasa. Aume watu ili awache legacy nzuri (he doesn’t have a reason to fear anymore, let him bite at people to leave a spotless legacy,’’ stated the opposition lawmaker.

This came only hours after the head of state promised to deal with anyone implicated in the series of graft dealings.

‘’We will not entertain unethical state officers. People given authority must use their powers to serve people and not to be served,’’ said the angry President at the Nairobi Statehouse earlier the same day.
