Blogger Robert Alai has finally spoken after he was released from police custody.
Alai said he was arrested by officers in four Flying Squad cars and hinted that his arrest was as a result of misuse of power by people close to the president.
Speaking through his official Facebook page, Alai did not disclose the reason for his arrest but thanked a Mr Jomo for helping him secure his freedom.
"Thanks Jomo for intervening and having this sorted. Some people are misusing the police and they misuse the name of the President too. 4 flying Squad cars? Really? Anyway, I am out," he posted.
He also thanked supporters from both the Jubilee and NASA coalitions for standing with him in his time of want.
"Thanks for the massive support. I received support from both the Baba and Uhuru supporters. Thanks guys. You know how much I love you."
