The ex-KANU strongman, who until his death was highly secretive, left a will that issued instructions that he should be ‘protected from enemies even after his death’.
The rare vehicle that will be used to carry the body of the former MP, was imported into the county last week.
Unconfined sources say the coffin, ordered from the USA, was imported at a cost of Sh100 million. Biwott, a billionaire by Kenyan standards, owned a chain of companies in many sectors, including Nairobi’s Yaya Centre. He died on July 11, 2017.
