The late former Cabinet minister Nicholas Biwott's body arrived in Eldoret on Wednesday.

Biwott is set to be buried in his farm on Thursday in Toot village, Elgeyo Marakwet county.

Biwott's family, led by his wife Hannie and hundreds of others, received the body at Eldoret International Airport.

It was later transported by road to his home.

Governors Jackson Mandago (Uasin Gishu) and Alex Tolgos (Elgeyo Marakwet) were among the mourners who received the body.

President Kenyatta and DP William Ruto are among those expected to attend the burial.
