A few days after the Black Panther movie featuring Lupita Nyong'o premiered in Kenya matatu owners in Nairobi have already started pimping their vehicles with graffiti of the movie's characters.
A matatu from the Umoiner Sacco was recently pictured with graffiti of the Black Panther movie.
The matatu is blue in color and has graffiti allover its body, it has the name of the movie Black Panther on one side and has a drawing of the movie's main character T'Challa on its rear screen.
On the front screen, 'WAKANDA' is written in capital letters, it (Wakanda) represents a fictional African nation which was ruled by Black Panther as its King and protector.
Speaking to a Hivisasa writer in Nairobi, John Njoroge a tout of one of the matatu's registered under Umoiner Sacco noted that they used the Black Panther grafitti to promote Kenyan culture.
"The matatu has the Black Panther graffiti as a show of support to our very own Lupita Nyong'o who featured in the movie. We as a Sacco our main motive is to promote Kenyan culture and talent through transport"
The Black Panther movie is Africa's first black superhero movie to be ever filmed.
