Gor Mahia winger George 'Blackberry' Odhiambo has signed a new 18-month contract.

The contract is set to keep Odhiambo at the club until 2019.

Odhiambo was out of contract after the two-year deal he signed with the club in January 2016 expired on 31st December 2017. 

There was speculations that the former KPL MVP was heading to a foreign club.

The deal signing was confirmed by Gor Mahia Chief Executive Officer Lordvick Aduda.

"Blackberry has signed an 18-month contract. The talks protracted but we are happy that he agreed to continue with us. He has rediscovered his form and we know he will play a key role in our 2018 campaign," Aduda is quoted by futaa.com
