The blame game between Jubilee administration and the Opposition over the 2017 general elections continues, with Jubilee now claiming Cord leader Raila Odinga plans to rig the elections.
Raila and his Cord coalition have been in the lead, in accusing Jubilee of influencing the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), with intentions to 'steal' votes.
National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale said demands by Raila, that Biometric Voter Registration (BVR) kits be used in the August 8 polls, aim to rig the elections.
''Raila Odinga intends to rig 2017 general elections. Why is he insisting on the use of BVR kits yet he opposed the systems in the 2013 elections? We have evidence about this and we are going to produce it,'' said the Jubilee lawmaker, Sunday.
Addressing the press at parliament buildings, the Garissa Township MP indicated that one Michael Yard, an American-Canadian, to influence the polls.
"This Michael Yard was here in 2013. Why was he here? Raila Odinga is working with this man to rig the elections. We as Jubilee, we'll not allow it,'' warned Duale.
