A manufacturing factory in Nakuru has extended its social responsibilities gestures through the donation of beddings and food stuff materials valued at Ksh.500,000  to an orphanage home in the County.

Blankets Factory Managing Director Virdi  Singh who led his group in the donation event at Dundori Orphanage and Rescue Centre on Wednesday said that the factory would continue supporting the centre to meet its goals of providing basic life needs to the orphaned children. We are humbled to join the efforts of this centres management and sponsors in ensuring that these needy children get basic needs in life and hence develop hope to face their future lives.It is not the first and end of such a gesture our company is offering but we promise to continue being part of this centres goals,’’said Singh.

The factory boss said that his group had made a decision to offer the donations because the orphanage home according to records at the Nakuru County Children’s office admits the largest number of needy children from across the country, but not in Nakuru region only. The orphanage Director Joseph Simiyu while thanking the factory’s management for the humanitarian gesture to the needy children observed that corporate responsibilities add value to any organizations goals and sustainability.
