A blind man is in pain and agony after he was roughed up and beaten by a politician who he had gone to seek help.

The 51-year-old is said to have been part of his campaign team during the last elections, and he managed to offer him help which saw him clinch the seat he was vying for.

The old man is said to have a sweet tongue was contracted by the politician because of his skills to communicate and influence people.

“The man came and asked me to help him and we did a good job for him to win, so I only went to seek for some help since he promised that once he wins, he will help me,” he says.

He recounts how he was even attacked by people from the rivals’ camp because of the good work he had done during the campaigns.

He says he had an appointment with the man on Saturday 13th, but it did not go well as planned.

“I went to the office and on trying to talk to him, he rained on me with kicks and kicked me out. I am asking, why doesn’t he keep his promise and honor our agreement?”
