Renowned political blogger Robert Alai has dismissed Amani National Congress Leader Musalia Mudavadi as ‘undisciplined and alcoholic’, poking holes on his capability to lead.
On Saturday, Mudavadi was chosen the Luhya community spokesperson following a research done by University of Nairobi Research Institute.
And in a Facebook post, Alai claimed that Mudavadi was not ideal choice to unite the Luhya community given his character.
“Nothing wrong in Luhya’s trying to unite behind and individual. I just don’t think Mudavadi can unite them. He is too undisciplined and suffering from alcoholic addiction,” read the post.
“Ababu was a great choice for Luhya unity. The problem is that he is still young and hasn’t learnt the art of patience. William Ruto outsmarts Mudavadi in everything,” he added.
In his acceptance speech on Saturday, Mudavadi vowed to reach all other Luhya leaders who were opposed to his appointment as the community’s spokesperson.
