The Kenya National Examinations Council is expected to face tough times as the teachers have vowed to snub national exam supervision over tough conditions.
Some of the teachers from Kisii County said they fear to supervise national examinations as they may lose their jobs in case there are any irregularities recorded.
According to a some of the teachers who sought anonymity, their colleagues lost their jobs last year when cases of cheating were recorded in their stations.
“Two of my friends are currently interdicted due to the cheating cases that were reported in their schools and that is why we fear,” he said.
This comes after KNEC through the ministry of Education issued tough guidelines on managing national tests set to start in November, as it moves to eliminate malpractices.
