Chief Justice David Maraga was dealt a blow this week after two high profile officials abandoned the Judiciary as the relationship between the executive and the Judiciary deteriorates.
Duncan Okello, who had been the Chief of Staff left in April 30 and his position was immediately filled by Dr. Conrad Bosire.
The new Chief of Staff Bosire, until his appointment, was a part time lecturer at Strathmore University School of Law.
According to his profile at Strathmore, Bosire had also previously worked with the Judiciary, Council of Governors and IDLO.
Also leaving the Judiciary is Collins Odote who at the time of elections was the legal adviser to the Judiciary Elections Committee.
The two are said to have played a critical role in Kenya's election cycle in which the country had President Uhuru Kenyatta's victory nullified.
