Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter has indirectly linked Deputy President William Ruto to the current woes he is facing at parliamentary committees.

In what was seen as an order from above, Keter was among three Rift Valley MPs de-whipped from various house committees for 'defying' top leadership.

And at his Nandi backyard, Keter insisted that his predicaments are directly associated with close relationship he enjoys with Baringo senator Gideon Moi.

"We know why we were de-whipped from committees. It is simply because of my support for Gideon Moi and victory over one Talam," he said.

He added: "We shall for the truth and let it sink into your mind that Moi is the next big thing."

Both Moi and Ruto have been battling for supremacy in the vote rich Rift Valley and are set for 2022 presidential race.

Despite being a critic of DP Ruto, Keter, Yohana Ng'eno and Oscar Sudi survived Ruto's wrath due to their acceptance by the population.
