Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago has once again publicly endorsed an ODM candidate eying a Member of County Assembly (MCA) seat in the county that is seen as a Jubilee stronghold.
Addressing a final rally at the Huruma grounds in the outskirts of Eldoret town, Saturday, Mandago accompanied with Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi asked his supporters to vote for Andrew Ouma who is vying against Jubilee nominee incumbent Peter Chomba.
This comes barely a week after Mandago together with Sudi endorsed Charles Ouma, an ODM MCA candidate for Langas.
Ouma will face incumbent Francis Muya, a Jubilee party nominee.
The governor who is seeking to defend his seat on a Jubilee ticket has accused the two MCAs for supporting his rival Zedekiah Bundotich popularly known as Buzeki.
"There is no way I will go campaigning for Chomba and Muya while they are busy campaigning for Buzeki," said Mandago during a meeting with members of the Agikuyu community in the county.
"I will gladly go back to those areas and campaign for the two if they apologise for supporting my competitors," he added.
Mandago's recent move to endorse NASA candidates has been seen as a calculative move to get a share of the non Kalenjin voters.
