Nairobi governor aspirant Miguna Miguna's running mate Karen Kangenye has quit the race citing poor working relations.
The 29 -year-old businesswoman with a degree in Sociology told the media that the country needed a leader who is a team player.
"If a team player is not compatible with his people then they are not fit to be in any office," she said.
Before he chose Wangenye as his running mate, Miguna earlier dropped 24-year-old James Githungu after introducing him to Kenyans.
According to the Star, Miguna was later quoted saying that his decision to choose Githungu was a decoy “to throw my opponents off the balance".
"You know there are many cartels and Miguna is a strategist,” he said.
Miguna is facing incumbent Evans Kidero, Peter Kenneth and Mike Sonko in the August 8 polls.
