There is uncertainty regarding the planned rally by opposition NASA after police revealed that there was no legal permit issued for the rally scheduled to take place at Jacranda grounds on Sunday.According to Nairobi Police Commander, Japheth Koome rally remains illegal since no authority has approved.According to Koome, NASA leaders had not given police a prior notice to provide security for the gathering.“The law states clearly that anybody who has the intention to have a public gathering must notify the local OCS and tell him/her where you will have your meeting so that police can provide you with security. Why do you (NASA) want to break the law,” said Koome. However, the opposition has maintained that rally will proceed as planned.By press time, NASA lawmakers were holding a consultation meeting at the Panari Hotel. The rally is scheduled to begin at 2:30 pmIt is still unclear whether the opposition will cancel the rally. The rally will not be attended by Raila Odinga who is still in the US
