Opposition leader Raila Odinga could have lost a crucial member of his team even before the determination of Supreme Court over his presidential elections.
The veteran leader is fighting to have election of President Uhuru Kenyatta nullified arguing that elections were rigged in his favour.
But a critical examination of a video circulating online proves that one of Odinga supporters and immediate former Bomet Governor may have after all moved on.
“You Excellency I am happy that you have visited this place. You are welcome all the time and it’s time to deliver for our people,” he says in the video during handing over last Tuesday.
He adds:”I will work with Dr. Joyce Laboso because people have spoken and their voice is superior. I am now a good citizen.”
Acknowledging that Uhuru was the winner, Rutto’s remarks communicate volumes since his other NASA principals have been moving in corridors of judiciary.
Conspicuously, the former governor has not made appearance in the ongoing battle at the Supreme Court raising questions about his commitment.
But ODM National Treeasurer and former Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire says NASA is intact adding that the Supreme Court would rule in their favour.
"Isaac has never supported Kenyatta and by just attending a handing over ceremony does not prove otherwise. We remain intact and we shall ensure the spirit continues," he says.
