ODM party and Jubilee are set to suffer major blow over intrigues surrounding detention of businessman Don Bosco Gichana in a Tanzanian jail.

For five years now, Bosco has been held over alleged money laundering and fraud with authorities failing to prove the case in several occassions.

And in Gusii, the ancestral home of the businessman cum politician, residents have vowed to quit the mega parties over the clandestine case.

"We have been taken for granted and this matter must now settle. It is funny that we have been supporting government and opposition but nothing is forthcoming," said Steve Onyancha, the leader of 'Bring back Bosco' which is based in Kisii and Nyamira Counties.

He further stated: "It is funny that when Kisii people are suffering elsewhere nobody is willing to listen to us. We shall chat our future after this debacle."

Earlier, a letter emanating from Bosco, in which he accuses President Uhuru Kenyatta's government of discrimination, was circulated on various social media platforms.

In the letter, the estranged IT expert quetioned his continued detention without trial, despite lack of evidence without intervention by Kenyan authorities.
