Despite hi s massive presence on social media popularising his service delivery and charity to citizens, Nairobi governor Mike Sonko has been graded among the worst performing governors in the country.
The survey conducted by Poll Kenya found Sonko to have the second-highest disapproval rating of 61 per cent.
Sonko only managed to beat his Homa Bay counterpart Cyprian Awiti who garnered a disapproval rating of 64 per cent.
The public disapproval will come as a blow to Sonko after his efforts to publicise City Hall activities on social media.
The governor has been on a city cleaning spree dubbed Ng'arisha Nai and has often gone live on Facebook showing himself in action at night cleaning up the streets.
However, critics have continued to hit out at him accusing him of the deplorable garbage situation in Eastleigh, Kawangware and other estates.
