Just a day after Nairobi gubernatorial hopeful received a major endorsement from Deputy President William Ruto upon picking Vivo Energy MD Polycarp Igathe as his running mate, the Senator is in a sombre mood after loosing two of his supporters.

The two supporters died in a car crush at the Muthurwa footbridge, while they were being ferried from Jubilee headquarters to the town centre in a lorry.

It is reported that they were standing in the moving canter when they went under the bridge and crushed their heads in the process.

They died on the spot.
