According to the ruling at the Kadhi’s Court, Susumila is expected to take full responsibility of the daughter he sired with his ex-wife, Kibibi Salim.

This comes after Susumila announced his separation from his wife barely a year after tying the knot.

The separation was marred by a lot of drama and controversy, before Kibibi moved to court.

The court ordered him to pay for his child’s upkeep including school fees, clothing and medical expenses among others.

He was also ordered by the court to pay full dowry amounting to Sh100,000, to the family of the bride, as agreed before their wedding ceremony.

According to Mpasho, the court further ordered him to pay Kibibi maintenance of Sh10,000 per month for three months, a period which Muslim women have to observe, following the death of their husband or divorce, during which they are not allowed to remarry.
