[Photo/goal.com]Kenya Premier League side Tusker FC suffered a major blow after one of their new signings Mathews Odongo picked up an injury in their pre-season friendly match against Nairobi Stima at the Ruaraka Grounds on Saturday.The Ugandan, who was poached from Kariobangi Sharks, was substituted moments after netting a goal for the Brewers who thrashed the Electricians 4-1Tusker assistant head coach Francis Baraza decried the injury blow and blamed Odongo's tackler for being rough on his player."That was the only downside in a match we used to gauge the endurance of our players.It was a bad tackle on Odongo.We shall wait for the doctor's report before telling how long he will be out," Baraza said after the match.Tusker has lined up a number of friendly matches that they hope will help bolster the team ahead of the grueling 2018 season.The team had a disappointing 2017 campaign that saw them relinquish both the league title and the GOtv shield.
