City lawyer  Steve Mogaka had disowned claims from a section of President Uhuru Kenyatta Gusii campaign leaders that he is lined up to decamp NASA for Jubilee.

Reports from local media, originating from close lieutenants of Jubilee party indicated that the renowned lawyer cum politician was to be received by President Uhuru Kenyatta on Thursday.

But a message in his official Facebook account, Mogaka dismissed the claims adding that he was still intact in the Wiper Democratic Party.

“My good people please disregard the misreporting by KTN today morning. I am not in the presidential entourage visiting Kisii and Nyamira today.

“I am a life member of Wiper Democratic Movement, Kenya. Thank you and God bless you,” read part of Mogaka’s post on Facebook.

For a record three times, Mogaka has unsuccessfully contested the West Mugirango parliamentary seat and has been working closely with opposition leader Raila Odinga.

Although he lost to Vincent Kemosi in August 8 polls, Mogaka has since filed a petition challenging election of the young legislator.
