[Photo| Daily Nation]Safaricom chief executive Bob Collymore has gone for sick leave for unspecified period of months.This is according to a statement from Safaricom chairman Nicholas Ng'ang'a."Safaricom today announces that its CEO Bob Collymorre has started medical leave to receive specialised treatment for a number of months," Ng'ang'a said Monday.In his absence, Sateesh Kamath, the current Chief Financial Officer for Safaricom, will take up his primary role and will be supported by Joseph Ogutu who is the current Director –Strategy and Innovation.Ogutu will be responsible for Safaricom's day-to-day operations until Collymore comes back from leave.
