(Photo/Standard.)Residents of Bogeka ward, Kitutu Chache South were left in shock after unknown assailants attacked and killed a boda-boda rider on Sunday night along Nyakoe - Marani road.Dash Onsase, a cousin to the deceased Wycliffe Nyangaresi said he was attacked on his way back home after he successfully completed his day's work."The deceased was a humble and social guy. Unknown people attacked and killed him on Sunday night and left his body on the road along Nyakoe - Marani road," said Onsase.Onsase added that the deceased was newly married and the family is yet to know who the killers are."Everyone is protected by the law. If the deceased had wronged anyone, the matter could have been reported to authorities but not taking someone's life," he added.He called on police to conduct thorough investigations to arrest the murderers.Area chief known as Philip condemned the killing and said the killers must be arrested to face prosecution.
The deceased body was moved to Kisii teaching and referral hospital.
