Witeithie Estate in Juja, Kiambu county woke up to a shocking scene of a middle-aged man killed and his body dumped by the road over the weekend.
The man, only identified by first name as George, is said to be a boda boda operator in the area.
His body which had deep cuts and wounds on the neck which seemed also twisted, was dumped at the Witeithia-Athena road with his motorcycle missing.
It is believed that his assailants might have used the motorbike to escape.
According to thikatowntoday.com, there has been a rise in insecurity in the area, with locals attributing this to the feud between the Boda boda and matatu operators.
It is alleged that the Boda boda operators are uncomfortable by their matatu counterparts who they have accused of invading their area of operation and charging far much less, thus swindling the customers the other way.
