Boda-boda riders in Nyachenge area held a demonstration on Monday after one of their colleagues was found brutally murdered and his motorbike stolen by an unknown gang.

Douglas Omweri was found killed on Monday morning and his body dumped near a coffee society.

Confirming the incident area chief Shadrach Mose said the body had serious injuries on the head and so far the police haven't managed to identify the killers and their motive.

"The 23-year-old rider's body was discovered by a local villager and he might have been beaten with a blunt object and later strangled leading to his death," said Mose

Mose calmed the agitated boda-boda riders and said the killers will be arrested as soon as possible.
