Kiptagich boda boda riders are lamenting the poor sates of Kiptagich-Olenguruone road in Kuresoi South.
Waving twigs and placards along the road on Friday, the boda boda riders have accused the county government of ignoring the area.
The angry boda boda riders, led by their Chairman Julius Menjo said they will plant banana twigs along the road if the government cannot address the issue.
“We shall be demonstrating until our plights are addressed. We have been incurring great losses due to poor roads. We are tired of empty promises,” said Menjo
The riders said that the road has even worsened during ongoing rainy season and the number of accidents increased.
They insisted that they will block the road until the area governor, Kinuthia Mbuguahears their pleas.
