Two boda boda operators were arrested at Moi University over the death of a student in the Eldoret institution.​According to inspector in-charge of Moi University Police Patrol Base Jacob Kabutiei, the suspects were arrested with a blood-stained Maasai club.

The weapons are suspected to have been used in the attack of Mathew Kiprono, a student at the insitution.

Kiprono was on Tuesday pronounced dead on arrival at a hospital in Eldoret town.

Police have also recovered a phone suspected to have been stolen from the student.
