Kisii county governor James Ongwae has said the construction of 220 bodaboda sheds across the county will be completed this week.
According to Ongwae, his county government decided to construct bodaboda sheds in every ward to save bodaboda operators who have been asking for the sheds from the county government for a long time.
Ongwae who was speaking in Kisii town said all the sheds will be completed within the week and asked bodaboda operators to take good care of them since they cost a lot to construct.
“70 per cent of the construction of bodaboda sheds has been completed and by the end of this week the remainder will be completed,” said Ongwae.
Ongwae challenged bodaboda operators to conduct their business wisely and invest through their business to grow the economy of the county.
“Our county can move forward if we cooperate together and invest in business let us grow the county’s economy through investment," added Ongwae.
