Bodaboda operators and ice cream sellers in Nakuru Town are on cloud nine as they recorded booming business on Christmas day.
The transporters especially those operating between town centre and Flamingo Estate where parts of Lake Nakuru National Park is located recorded good business scores as hundreds of residents flocked the park to celebrate Christmas.
Tom Masikonde a cyclist confirmed this noting that they had raised fare to maximise fully on the windfall.
"It is true that business is good today. As you can see people are so many and not all of them came here with private means however, we have just doubled the cost to Sh100 because this is an annual affair," he said.
His sentiments were echoed by Timothy Masikonde who wished Christmas could be an every day affair.
Ice cream sellers and their balloons alongside their face painting counterparts were not left behind either in the booming business as residents filled the park to capacity.
