Bodaboda operators were yesterday urged to be more cautious on the roads as they lay their colleague to rest.
Japheth Okeyo the slain motorcyclist, died after being involved in a grisly road accident along the Kisumu-Busia highway last week.
Speaking at the burial ceremony, Kakamega Senator Dr Bonny Khalwale told bodaboda operators to be careful while on the road.
The Senator was on his way to Kakamega County when he attended the burial ceremony where he got a chance to address the mourners.
He emphasised that the operators be cautious on the roads.
The chairperson of Maseno Bodaboda Operators Mark Opongi told the cyclists that they should ensure they undergo proper cycling lessons so that road accidents could be reduced.
Okeyo was buried at Masatsi Village near Maseno University.
