Mwembe bodaboda operators have been urged to embrace a saving culture in order to be financially safe and stable.
According to a financial expert Morris Ongiti, most bodaboda operators who are youthful forget one of the key features to success is saving.
He said it doesn’t matter how little or much one earned but the way we save matters.
“Saving has many advantages including securing one financially. Emergencies do happen in life which may put one at a bitter end when not financially ready," said Ongiti.
"There is no much money or little money for one to save," he added.
He adds that saving at first may seem tiresome and unproductive but with time one inculcates it and it becomes a good habit.
“Imagine a situation where you fall sick or your child gets sick yet you have nothing in your account," said Ongiti.
"You will be frustrated no matter the amount of money one may always earn. This money comes and goes that’s why one needs to save,” he said.
“Ensure you always save no matter the little you have. You may have today and lack tomorrow so by saving you are always covered,” said Ongiti.
