Mwaura Ndung'u alias 'Sururu', was found on Tuesday morning dumped in a coffee plantation in Warathu, his motorbike missing.

According to Edwin Njoroge, the owner of the motorcycle, he last saw Ndung'u at around 10:30 p.m before leaving the shopping centre to his home.

"I saw him riding on the motorcycle at around 10:30pm but when I stopped him he signalled me that he was not going far. I didn't wait thinking I could meet him today," said Njoroge.

Human rights activist in the area Apolo Kamau Mwangi urged the area police to carry out speedy investigations and bring the culprits to book.

"We urge the police to beef up security in this area and conduct speedy investigations to know the people who has committed this heinous act," he said.
