Two bodaboda operators in Maseno have been arrested for allegedly causing disturbance to the public.
The two were arrested after they decided to resolve their difference by throwing blows at each other.
It is alleged they quarreled due to a lady both were trying to win.
“This two have been competing for a certain lady who had completed her form four studies last year. One of them tarnished the image of the other leading to the misunderstanding,” said Jacob Omondi an operator.
It took the effort of the police to calm the two who were fighting fiercely.
“We tried to stop them but they would not listen. How would two grown up men fight for a form four leaver. Let them face the consequence of their actions,” said Chris Otina.
The two were taken to Maseno Police Station.
Chris Adhiambo, the officer from Maseno Police station cautioned the locals against taking the law into their own hands. He said the two will serve as an example to the public.
The two are expected to be arraigned in court.
