In a case presided over by Justice Joseph Onguto on Monday, the court said that the operators failed to prove to the court that by ordering them out of the CBD the county had violated their rights.

The judge dismissed the case which had been filed by the riders in February.

In 2015, Governor Evans Kidero had stopped the riders from operating in the CBD where the county boss had cited the provisions of the Traffic Act CAP 403 of 2014.

But they had quickly moved to court to block Kidero on grounds that they had not been informed in time prior to the decision.
