Naivasha Police Commander Silvano Mutembei has warned indiscipline and rogue Bodaboda and Tuk tuk operators in the sub-county.
Speaking in his office on Saturday, Mutembei said that he has received several complaints from the public concerning those operators who disrespect their customers.
Commander Mutembei said that action will be taken against operators who verbally or no-verbally abuse their customers.
He said that the operators must respect their customers if they want to continue doing business in the sub-county.
“How do you disrespect people who give you work?,” wondered Mutembei adding that investigation will be launched into the allegations.
Mutembei observed that most complaints have been raised by young ladies noting that Bodaboda operators must respect all gender.
He asked ladies who suffer abuse or assault in the hands of operators to immediately report to Police officers. At the same time the commander wants the operators to adhere to road safety regulations.
He observed that most operators flout traffic regulations adding that they are working with the area Bodaboda and Tuk tuk operatorsto ensure errant operators are flushed out.
Mutembei said that many accidents involved cyclists and riders hence the need for them to adhere to traffic regulations.
