Business in Soko Mjinga, Kisauni constituency in Mombasa County was disrupted after angry bodaboda operators abandoned their jobs to hunt for a gang that has been terrorising them.
Over 500 riders from Kisauni raided the Soko Mjinga slum in a bid to flush out the gang members.
This was prompted by the heinous murder of their colleague who was allegedly stabbed in the chest with a knife, and his motorbike stolen.
They accused the police of laxity.
"The police have failed to help us even though we work in insecure environs," said the motorbike operators.
