The funeral service for the three brutally killed children of Kapsoya MCA aspirant James Ratemo was on Thursday held at the Eldovile Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) church in Eldoret town.

The bodies were lying at the Moi Teaching and Refferal Hospital and were transported to the church for the service.

They are expected to be later ferried to their rural home in Nyacheki, Kisii county for the burial set for Friday.

Speaking during the funeral service, Uasin Gishu Deputy governor Daniel Chemno called for thorough investigations into the shocking killings.

"We demand thorough investigations to be undertaken as I believe we have sufficient man power that will un-earth the truth. Relevant authorities should get deep into this killings and punish all the culprits," noted Chemno.

Already, uncle to the children, Enock Onsase was arrested and will Wednesday appear before Eldoret High Court to answer to three murder charges.

Onsase, 26, is believed to be the last person seen with the children before they going missing on May 13, while on their way to church at Kapsoya estate.

Postmortems into the bodies revealed that the children were strangled to death before their bodies were dumped at River Nzoia, in the neighbouring Trans Nzoia county.
