Two tourists who were killed in Mombasa have been identified as Switzerland citizens.
The bodies of Werner Borner Paul, 70, and Marriane Hornel were found at Kiembeni area by pedestrians on Sunday morning.
According to the Star, the couple arrived in the country on Saturday August 19 and were staying at a Nyali hotel.
Regional police commander Larry Kieng’ said they have opened investigations into the incident.
The police boss said they are trailing suspects who they believe are linked to the murder of the two foreigners.
"The killers will be arrested and taken to court. They can run but we will catch up with them even if they go to the sky."
A gardener at the couple's Links Road home was arrested in connection with the murder.
