A boda boda rider was on Monday evening found dead at Mbanda Bridge along the Kisii – Marani road.
Confirming the incident area assistant chief Enock Nyangena said the body was discovered by a taxi driver at around 8 pm who raised alarm.
“The deceased has been operating as a boda boda rider along the Kisii-Nyabonge - Marani road for over 4 years now. We are shocked that he is no more," said the chief.
He said that the rider was a humble and social man who had no disagreement with anyone.
He asked the police to launch investigations into the murder and ensure that they bring the culprits to book.
The body of the late was moved to the Kisii teaching and referral hospital mortuary.
