A group of residents from Bogichora Ward who are into the brick making business have pointed an accusing finger at are MCA Beutah Omanga over the poor state of roads in the area, which has largely affected their business.
Benard Kebaso, a longtime brick maker in Keera location accuses Omanga of neglecting their region, and now wants him to initiate a repair of the claimed poor roads swearing that he will vote him out if he fails come 2017 general elections.
"Our MCA has really neglected our region in terms of development. Let him liase with the necessary stakeholders and initiate repair of observed worst roads before we rally to vote him out come next year," he said.
Robert Keng'ocha, also said the area MCA should liase with the county government to level and gravel the impassable roads in good time, adding that the poor roads contribute to a drop in their business.
"Our MCA should liase with the county government to repair our roads. This is because the poor roads delay our transportation of bricks and scare buyers, which holds back our financial stability," said Keng'ocha.
The said road links Malindi-Bonyabomite road which they say needs to be re-graveled.
