Bogusero Ward MCA Edward Otuke as challenged all the ward youths to engage in such fish farming, bodaboda and poultry projects to improve their living standards.
“We must change our way of thinking if Bogusero to change our Ward. Things are fast changing and we need to adjust and not to be left behind as Bogusero and not as individuals, we are rich in terms of resources and why then that we cannot utilize these resources for the benefit of all Bogusero and Kisii county,’’ Otuke noted
He registered a bodaboda group as a ward and aims at working with all youths from within and out of the ward, the Bogusero bodaboda self help group shall operate in a manner to venture into other economic activities like fishing soon out of their savings.
He said the Nyamatuta fishing bonds is ready for fish project that he says youths needs to invest in and he promised three more such bonds to accommodate the large number of youths in Bogusero ward.
Women and farmers were not left out as they registered for fertilizer to come soon for their farming projects.
Otuke said this financial year he wants to change youth’s ways of living and doing their projects in the ward.
He also advise the youth to initiate and start self help groups and register with relevant authorities to enable them access funds from both NGOs and financial institutions for running projects for great future in entrepreneurship world that is so competitive
He also said the Kitutu Chache South member of parliament, Richard Onyonka is working towards coming up with the constituency SACCO hence need to be in registered group if to benefit soon.
“I am looking forward to working with all those who are ready for change in the constituency and Bogusero ward as a whole,'' Otuke said.
