Kitutu Chache North Member of Parliament Jimmy Angwenyi has called upon relevant authorities in collaboration with police boss Joseph Boinett to arrest and prosecute opposition leader Raila Odinga for inciting Gusii residents hence depolarising the community.
Speaking in Kisii town on Tuesday the MP said the region was politically calm until Raila toured the place to incite them to boycott the upcoming polls and above all disrupt the process.
"As one of the oldest MPs from the region I am not happy with Raila's sentiments and I call upon the police to arrest him as all he wants is to see Kenya burn," said Angwenyi.
Angwenyi urged the locals residents to turn out in large numbers and vote.
Kenyans are expected to go for an election on October 26.
