The Kenyan police through the office of the inspector general has announced a reward of sh2 million for anyone who knows the whereabouts of two suspected criminal doctors.

Boinnet noted that the two individuals, Farah Dagane and Ahmed Hish, were involved in planning and masterminding terror activities in the country but have since gone into hiding after realising they were on police watch list. The IG further explained that the police managed to thwart imminent attacks by the duo and apparently arrested one of their accomplices, Mohammed Ali who is also a practicing medical doctor. Ali has since been arraigned in court and shall be remanded for the next one month pending full and detailed investigations.

In the past few years, Kenya has been battling with terror attacks perpetrated by the Somali-based Al-Shabaab and its sympathisers after the country deployed its military to help restore peace in the war-torn country.
