Leaders from Bommachoge clan in Kisii County want the immediate sacking of their representatives in the Kisii County government following their dismal performance for the period they have been in office.
Led by the by the TNA Nyanza region representative Steve Onyambu, the leaders said that the executive committee members in governor James Ongwae's Cabinet Peris Onsarigo and Marcella Otuke have not played their role so that the problems in Bomachoge Chache and Bomachoge, Borabu constituencies can be addressed.
They have since threatened to hold demonstrations at the Kisii County headquarters so that Governor Ongwae can listen to them so that he can nominate new representatives acceptable across the board so that the area residents can reap the fruits of the devolution process.
Onsarigo who is the executive committee member in-charge of administration and stakeholder management dared the group to go ahead because they will receive great resistance from those who know very well that they have been performing their duties very well since they were appointed by Governor Ongwae.
Speaking in Kisii town, they pointed out that the two executive committee members have not held consultative meetings with stakeholders in the region so that development and employment problems can be addressed.
Onyambu said that governor Ongwae remains popular among the Abamachoge clan but failure to sack the two will lead to automatic political realignment a head of the 2017 general elections where their problems will be addressed.
